contains the enhancements and fixes listed below. If you have any technical
questions about this new release please contact SurfControl

SurfControl Report Central
provides full visibility into your organization's Web and e-mail use by
delivering the information you need, when you need it. In addition, you can
easily provide authorized technical and business personnel with secure
reporting capabilities. This enables designated staff throughout your entire
organization to make the best possible decisions about your Web and e-mail use
policies and employee behavior.
Enhancements in this release for
E-mail Filter reports include a new Return on Investment (ROI) report, a
high-level inbound traffic summary chart and visibility into the new
SurfControl Reputation Service protection.
SRC 2.6.1 also supports
SurfControl E-mail Filter 5.5.
New Features – E-mail Filter Reports
Enhanced
reporting capabilities for 2.6.1 for E-mail Filter 6.0 include:
Return on Investment (ROI) Report
The Report Manager now includes a new ROI report, which gives you visibility of the cost savings for your organization resulting from the implementation of SurfControl E-mail Filter.
Inbound Traffic Summary - Dashboard Chart
The Threat Dashboard now displays a summary pie chart which quickly and clearly shows the breakdown of your inbound e-mail traffic by type, such as spam, virus-infected, legitimate, and inappropriate.
SurfControl Reputation Service Reporting
With E-mail Filter 6.0, incoming e-mail connections can now be automatically checked against SurfControl’s own DNS Blacklist to help determine whether the sender’s IP address can be trusted. Report Central's connection-level reports will allow you to see the effectiveness of this additional protection.
Support for French Language
When installing SRC 2.6.1, you can select to have the product interface and reports displayed in French.
Note: SRC 2.6.1 replaces SRC 2.6. All of the new features listed in this Readme, apart from French language support, were introduced in SRC 2.6.
